Shelly has lived in the Birch Run area for nearly 30 years. She originally moved to the area after meeting her husband and has called it home ever since — living in an apartment, then in Burt, and now in her current home in Birch Run.

She loves the strong sense of community, especially the support for local schools and youth programs. Shelly has been actively involved in Youth Sports and grew up participating in 4H in Clare, starting at just five years old. She still returns to help during fair week each year — a true testament to her commitment to community.

Fun fact? Shelly is a twin — and when she goes back home, people often mistake her for her sister!
